Go through your sequences and collect together the sequences that concern the same task. During the interpretation session you will have written down any sequence that you observed. Now that you have all the data, you will be able to determine which sequences are central to your problem and which are peripheral.

A consolidated sequence is similar to traditional task analysis. It shows each step, triggers for the steps, different strategies for achieving each intent, and breakdowns in the ongoing work. Work redesign is ultimately about redesigning the steps in the sequences. Write this at the top of the sequence.
