Smackdown event
Goal:To perform an autorotation onto a raised platform approximately
one metre in diameter and half a metre above the ground.
People who successfully auto onto the platform without falling off will go
into the draw to win a 3DMP.
Rules:
- The engine must cut back to idle and demonstrate that it is not powering
the rotorhead at all.
- The helicopter must be autorotating when it passes a mark 20 meters out
from the platform. This is to prevent people cutting the engine too close to
the platform.
- You are allowed to stand anywhere you like, but must not be closer than
5 metres from the platform. For safety reasons, people flying larger
helicopters may need to be further back.
- You are allowed three attempts.
- The helicopter has to remain on the platform (without falling off) to be
counted as successful.

Trade enquiries, including space allocation, fees and recommended hiring
